<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"calibri light",sans-serif">An exciting innovation in IFLA’s new governance structures will be our new Regional Division Committees for Asia-Oceania, Europe, Latin America
and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, North America and Sub-Saharan Africa.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"calibri light",sans-serif"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"calibri light",sans-serif">These will bring together representatives in each of these six world regions in order to support the development and delivery of action plans
that respond to the needs of their library fields, in particular around strengthening advocacy for libraries.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"calibri light",sans-serif"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"calibri light",sans-serif">Taking up their roles after our General Assembly in August, they will play a key role in delivering on the IFLA Strategy 2019-2024, in particular
by strengthening the library field – and IFLA’s work – at the regional level.</span></p>
